14:1 [hgb]  推 罗 王 希 兰 将 香 柏 木 运 到 大 卫 那 里 ， 又 差 遣 使 者 和 石 匠 ， 木 匠 给 大 卫 建 造 宫 殿 。
    [kjv]  Now Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and timber of cedars, with masons and carpenters, to build him an house.
    [bbe]  And Hiram, king of Tyre, sent men to David with cedar-trees, and stoneworkers and woodworkers for the building of his house.
14:2 [hgb]  大 卫 就 知 道 耶 和 华 坚 立 他 作 以 色 列 王 ， 又 为 自 己 的 民 以 色 列 ， 使 他 的 国 兴 旺 。
    [kjv]  And David perceived that the LORD had confirmed him king over Israel, for his kingdom was lifted up on high, because of his people Israel.
    [bbe]  And David saw that the Lord had made his position safe as king over Israel, lifting up his kingdom on high because of his people Israel.
14:3 [hgb]  大 卫 在 耶 路 撒 冷 又 立 后 妃 ， 又 生 儿 女 。
    [kjv]  And David took more wives at Jerusalem: and David begat more sons and daughters.
    [bbe]  And while he was living in Jerusalem, David took more wives and became the father of more sons and daughters.
14:4 [hgb]  在 耶 路 撒 冷 所 生 的 众 子 是 沙 母 亚 ， 朔 吧 ， 拿 单 ， 所 罗 门 ，
    [kjv]  Now these are the names of his children which he had in Jerusalem; Shammua, and Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon,

14:5 [hgb]  益 辖 ， 以 利 书 亚 ， 以 法 列 ，
    [kjv]  And Ibhar, and Elishua, and Elpalet,

14:6 [hgb]  挪 迦 ， 尼 斐 ， 雅 非 亚 ，
    [kjv]  And Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia,
    [bbe]  And Nogah and Nepheg and Japhia
14:7 [hgb]  以 利 沙 玛 ， 比 利 雅 大 ， 以 利 法 列 。
    [kjv]  And Elishama, and Beeliada, and Eliphalet.
    [bbe]  And Elishama and Beeliada and Eliphelet.
14:8 [hgb]  非 利 士 人 听 见 大 卫 受 膏 作 以 色 列 众 人 的 王 ， 非 利 士 众 人 就 上 来 寻 索 大 卫 。 大 卫 听 见 ， 就 出 去 迎 敌 。
    [kjv]  And when the Philistines heard that David was anointed king over all Israel, all the Philistines went up to seek David. And David heard of it, and went out against them.
    [bbe]  And when the Philistines had news that David had been made king over all Israel, they went up in search of David, and David, hearing of it, went out against them.
14:9 [hgb]  非 利 士 人 来 了 ， 布 散 在 利 乏 音 谷 。
    [kjv]  And the Philistines came and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim.
    [bbe]  Now the Philistines had come, and had gone out in every direction in the valley of Rephaim.
14:10 [hgb]  大 卫 求 问 神 ， 说 ， 我 可 以 上 去 攻 打 非 利 士 人 吗 ？ 你 将 他 们 交 在 我 手 里 吗 ？ 耶 和 华 说 ， 你 可 以 上 去 ， 我 必 将 他 们 交 在 你 手 里 。
