29:1 [hgb]  先 知 耶 利 米 从 耶 路 撒 冷 寄 信 与 被 掳 的 祭 司 ， 先 知 ， 和 众 民 ， 并 生 存 的 长 老 ， 就 是 尼 布 甲 尼 撒 从 耶 路 撒 冷 掳 到 巴 比 伦 去 的 。 
    [kjv]  Now these are the words of the letter that Jeremiah the prophet sent from Jerusalem unto the residue of the elders which were carried away captives, and to the priests, and to the prophets, and to all the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had carried away captive from Jerusalem to Babylon;
    [bbe]  Now these are the words of the letter which Jeremiah the prophet sent from Jerusalem to the responsible men among those who had been taken away, and to the priests and the prophets and to all the rest of the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had taken away prisoners from Jerusalem to Babylon;
29:2 [hgb]  （ 这 在 耶 哥 尼 雅 王 和 太 后 ， 太 监 ， 并 犹 大 ， 耶 路 撒 冷 的 首 领 ， 以 及 工 匠 ， 铁 匠 都 离 了 耶 路 撒 冷 以 后 。 ） 
    [kjv]  (After that Jeconiah the king, and the queen, and the eunuchs, the princes of Judah and Jerusalem, and the carpenters, and the smiths, were departed from Jerusalem;)
    [bbe]  (After Jeconiah the king and the queen-mother and the unsexed servants and the rulers of Judah and Jerusalem and the expert workmen and the metal-workers had gone away from Jerusalem;)
29:3 [hgb]  他 借 沙 番 的 儿 子 以 利 亚 萨 和 希 勒 家 的 儿 子 基 玛 利 的 手 寄 去 。 他 们 二 人 是 犹 大 王 西 底 家 打 发 往 巴 比 伦 去 见 尼 布 甲 尼 撒 王 的 。 
    [kjv]  By the hand of Elasah the son of Shaphan, and Gemariah the son of Hilkiah, (whom Zedekiah king of Judah sent unto Babylon to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon) saying,
    [bbe]  By the hand of Elasah, the son of Shaphan, and Gemariah, the son of Hilkiah, (whom Zedekiah, king of Judah, sent to Babylon, to Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon,) saying,
29:4 [hgb]  信 上 说 ， 万 军 之 耶 和 华 以 色 列 的 神 ， 对 一 切 被 掳 去 的 ， 就 是 我 使 他 们 从 耶 路 撒 冷 被 掳 到 巴 比 伦 的 人 ， 如 此 说 ， 
    [kjv]  Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, unto all that are carried away captives, whom I have caused to be carried away from Jerusalem unto Babylon;
    [bbe]  This is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel, has said to all those whom I have taken away prisoners from Jerusalem to Babylon:
29:5 [hgb]  你 们 要 盖 造 房 屋 ， 住 在 其 中 。 栽 种 田 园 ， 吃 其 中 所 产 的 。 
    [kjv]  Build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them;
    [bbe]  Go on building houses and living in them, and planting gardens and using the fruit of them;
29:6 [hgb]  娶 妻 生 儿 女 ， 为 你 们 的 儿 子 娶 妻 ， 使 你 们 的 女 儿 嫁 人 ， 生 儿 养 女 。 在 那 里 生 养 众 多 ， 不 至 减 少 。 
    [kjv]  Take ye wives, and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons, and give your daughters to husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters; that ye may be increased there, and not diminished.
    [bbe]  Take wives and have sons and daughters, and take wives for your sons, and give your daughters to husbands, so that they may have sons and daughters; and be increased in number there and do not become less.
29:7 [hgb]  我 所 使 你 们 被 掳 到 的 那 城 ， 你 们 要 为 那 城 求 平 安 ， 为 那 城 祷 告 耶 和 华 。 因 为 那 城 得 平 安 ， 你 们 也 随 着 得 平 安 。 
    [kjv]  And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.
    [bbe]  And be working for the peace of the land to which I have had you taken away prisoners, and make prayer to the Lord for it: for in its peace you will have peace.
29:8 [hgb]  万 军 之 耶 和 华 以 色 列 的 神 如 此 说 ， 不 要 被 你 们 中 间 的 先 知 和 占 卜 的 诱 惑 ， 也 不 要 听 信 自 己 所 作 的 梦 。 
    [kjv]  For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed.
    [bbe]  For this is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel, has said: Do not let yourselves be tricked by the prophets who are among you, and the readers of signs, and give no attention to their dreams which they may have;
29:9 [hgb]  因 为 他 们 托 我 的 名 对 你 们 说 假 预 言 ， 我 并 没 有 差 遣 他 们 。 这 是 耶 和 华 说 的 。 
    [kjv]  For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, saith the LORD.
    [bbe]  For they are saying to you what is false in my name: I have not sent them, says the Lord.
29:10 [hgb]  耶 和 华 如 此 说 ， 为 巴 比 伦 所 定 的 七 十 年 满 了 以 后 ， 我 要 眷 顾 你 们 ， 向 你 们 成 就 我 的 恩 言 ， 使 你 们 仍 回 此 地 。 
    [kjv]  For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.
    [bbe]  For this is what the Lord has said: When seventy years are ended for Babylon, I will have pity on you and give effect to my good purpose for you, causing you to come back to this place.
29:11 [hgb]  耶 和 华 说 ， 我 知 道 我 向 你 们 所 怀 的 意 念 是 赐 平 安 的 意 念 ， 不 是 降 灾 祸 的 意 念 ， 要 叫 你 们 末 后 有 指 望 。 
    [kjv]  For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
    [bbe]  For I am conscious of my thoughts about you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope at the end.
29:12 [hgb]  你 们 要 呼 求 我 ， 祷 告 我 ， 我 就 应 允 你 们 。 
    [kjv]  Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
    [bbe]  And you will go on crying to me and making prayer to me, and I will give ear to you.
29:13 [hgb]  你 们 寻 求 我 ， 若 专 心 寻 求 我 ， 就 必 寻 见 。 
    [kjv]  And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
    [bbe]  And you will be searching for me and I will be there, when you have gone after me with all your heart.
29:14 [hgb]  耶 和 华 说 ， 我 必 被 你 们 寻 见 ， 我 也 必 使 你 们 被 掳 的 人 归 回 ， 将 你 们 从 各 国 中 和 我 所 赶 你 们 到 的 各 处 招 聚 了 来 ， 又 将 你 们 带 回 我 使 你 们 被 掳 掠 离 开 的 地 方 。 这 是 耶 和 华 说 的 。 
    [kjv]  And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.
    [bbe]  I will be near you again, says the Lord, and your fate will be changed, and I will get you together from all the nations and from all the places where I had sent you away, says the Lord; and I will take you back again to the place from which I sent you away prisoners.
29:15 [hgb]  你 们 说 ， 耶 和 华 在 巴 比 伦 为 我 们 兴 起 先 知 。 
    [kjv]  Because ye have said, The LORD hath raised us up prophets in Babylon;
    [bbe]  For you have said, The Lord has given us prophets in Babylon.
29:16 [hgb]  所 以 耶 和 华 论 到 坐 大 卫 宝 座 的 王 和 住 在 这 城 里 的 一 切 百 姓 ， 就 是 未 曾 与 你 们 一 同 被 掳 的 弟 兄 ， 
    [kjv]  Know that thus saith the LORD of the king that sitteth upon the throne of David, and of all the people that dwelleth in this city, and of your brethren that are not gone forth with you into captivity;
    [bbe]  For this is what the Lord has said about the king who is seated on the seat of David's kingdom, and about all the people living in this town, your countrymen who have not gone out with you as prisoners;
29:17 [hgb]  万 军 之 耶 和 华 如 此 说 ， 看 哪 ， 我 必 使 刀 剑 ， 饥 荒 ， 瘟 疫 临 到 他 们 ， 使 他 们 像 极 坏 的 无 花 果 ， 坏 得 不 可 吃 。 
    [kjv]  Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will send upon them the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, and will make them like vile figs, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.
