29:1 [hgb]  大 卫 王 对 会 众 说 ， 我 儿 子 所 罗 门 是 神 特 选 的 ， 还 年 幼 娇 嫩 。 这 工 程 甚 大 ， 因 这 殿 不 是 为 人 ， 乃 是 为 耶 和 华 神 建 造 的 。
    [kjv]  Furthermore David the king said unto all the congregation, Solomon my son, whom alone God hath chosen, is yet young and tender, and the work is great: for the palace is not for man, but for the LORD God.
    [bbe]  And David the king said to all the people, Solomon my son, the only one who has been marked out by God, is still young and untested, and the work is great, for this great house is not for man, but for the Lord God.
29:2 [hgb]  我 为 我 神 的 殿 已 经 尽 力 ， 预 备 金 子 作 金 器 ， 银 子 作 银 器 ， 铜 作 铜 器 ， 铁 作 铁 器 ， 木 作 木 器 ， 还 有 红 玛 瑙 可 镶 嵌 的 宝 石 ， 彩 石 和 一 切 的 宝 石 ， 并 许 多 汉 白 玉 。
    [kjv]  Now I have prepared with all my might for the house of my God the gold for things to be made of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and the brass for things of brass, the iron for things of iron, and wood for things of wood; onyx stones, and stones to be set, glistering stones, and of divers colours, and all manner of precious stones, and marble stones in abundance.
    [bbe]  Now as far as I am able, I have made ready what is needed for the house of my God; the gold for the things of gold, and the silver for the silver things, and the brass for the brass things, iron for the things of iron, and wood for the things of wood; beryls and jewels to be framed, and stones of different colours for ornament; all sorts of stones of great price, and polished building-stone, as much as is needed and more.
29:3 [hgb]  且 因 我 心 中 爱 慕 我 神 的 殿 ， 就 在 预 备 建 造 圣 殿 的 材 料 之 外 ， 又 将 我 自 己 积 蓄 的 金 银 献 上 ， 建 造 我 神 的 殿 ，
    [kjv]  Moreover, because I have set my affection to the house of my God, I have of mine own proper good, of gold and silver, which I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house,
    [bbe]  And because this house of God is dear to me, I give my private store of gold and silver to the house of my God, in addition to all I have got ready for the holy house;
29:4 [hgb]  就 是 俄 斐 金 三 千 他 连 得 ， 精 链 的 银 子 七 千 他 连 得 ， 以 贴 殿 墙 。
    [kjv]  Even three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and seven thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the houses withal:
    [bbe]  Even three thousand talents of gold of Ophir and seven thousand talents of the best silver, for plating the walls of the house:
29:5 [hgb]  金 子 作 金 器 ， 银 子 作 银 器 ， 并 借 匠 人 的 手 制 造 一 切 。 今 日 有 谁 乐 意 将 自 己 献 给 耶 和 华 呢 ？
    [kjv]  The gold for things of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and for all manner of work to be made by the hands of artificers. And who then is willing to consecrate his service this day unto the LORD?
    [bbe]  Gold for the gold things, and silver for the silver things, and for every sort of work to be done by the expert workmen. Who then will come forward, offering himself this day for the Lord's work?
29:6 [hgb]  于 是 ， 众 族 长 和 以 色 列 各 支 派 的 首 领 ， 千 夫 长 ， 百 夫 长 ， 并 监 管 王 工 的 官 长 ， 都 乐 意 献 上 。
    [kjv]  Then the chief of the fathers and princes of the tribes of Israel, and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the rulers of the king's work, offered willingly,
    [bbe]  Then the heads of families and the chiefs of the tribes of Israel, and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the controllers of the king's business, freely gave themselves;
29:7 [hgb]  他 们 为 神 殿 的 使 用 献 上 金 子 五 千 他 连 得 零 一 万 达 利 克 ， 银 子 一 万 他 连 得 ， 铜 一 万 八 千 他 连 得 ， 铁 十 万 他 连 得 。
    [kjv]  And gave for the service of the house of God of gold five thousand talents and ten thousand drams, and of silver ten thousand talents, and of brass eighteen thousand talents, and one hundred thousand talents of iron.
    [bbe]  And they gave for the use of the house of the Lord, five thousand talents and ten thousand darics of gold, and ten thousand talents of silver, and eighteen thousand talents of brass, and a hundred thousand talents of iron.
29:8 [hgb]  凡 有 宝 石 的 都 交 给 革 顺 人 耶 歇 ， 送 入 耶 和 华 殿 的 府 库 。
    [kjv]  And they with whom precious stones were found gave them to the treasure of the house of the LORD, by the hand of Jehiel the Gershonite.
    [bbe]  And those who had stones of great price gave them to the store of the house of the Lord, under the care of Jehiel the Gershonite.
29:9 [hgb]  因 这 些 人 诚 心 乐 意 献 给 耶 和 华 ， 百 姓 就 欢 喜 ， 大 卫 王 也 大 大 欢 喜 。
    [kjv]  Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the LORD: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.
    [bbe]  Then the people were glad because their offerings were freely given, for with a true heart they freely gave what they had to the Lord; and David the king was full of joy.
29:10 [hgb]  所 以 ， 大 卫 在 会 众 面 前 称 颂 耶 和 华 说 ， 耶 和 华 我 们 的 父 ， 以 色 列 的 神 是 应 当 称 颂 ， 直 到 永 永 远 远 的 。
    [kjv]  Wherefore David blessed the LORD before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed be thou, LORD God of Israel our father, for ever and ever.
    [bbe]  So David gave praise to the Lord before all the people; and David said, Praise be to you, O Lord the God of Israel, our father for ever and ever.
29:11 [hgb]  耶 和 华 阿 ， 尊 大 ， 能 力 ， 荣 耀 ， 强 胜 ， 威 严 都 是 你 的 。 凡 天 上 地 下 的 都 是 你 的 。 国 度 也 是 你 的 ， 并 且 你 为 至 高 ， 为 万 有 之 首 。
    [kjv]  Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.
    [bbe]  Yours, O Lord, is the strength and the power and the glory, and the authority and the honour: for everything in heaven and on earth is yours; yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are lifted up as head over all.
29:12 [hgb]  丰 富 尊 荣 都 从 你 而 来 ， 你 也 治 理 万 物 。 在 你 手 里 有 大 能 大 力 ， 使 人 尊 大 强 盛 都 出 于 你 。
    [kjv]  Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.
    [bbe]  Wealth and honour come from you, and you are ruler over all, and in your hand is power and strength; it is in your power to make great, and to give strength to all.
29:13 [hgb]  我 们 的 神 阿 ， 现 在 我 们 称 谢 你 ， 赞 美 你 荣 耀 之 名 。
    [kjv]  Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.
    [bbe]  So now, our God, we give you praise, honouring the glory of your name.
29:14 [hgb]  我 算 什 么 ， 我 的 民 算 什 么 ， 竟 能 如 此 乐 意 奉 献 。 因 为 万 物 都 从 你 而 来 ， 我 们 把 从 你 而 得 的 献 给 你 。
    [kjv]  But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.
    [bbe]  But who am I and what is my people, that we have power to give so freely in this way? for all things come from you, and what we have given you is yours.
29:15 [hgb]  我 们 在 你 面 前 是 客 旅 ， 是 寄 居 的 ， 与 我 们 列 祖 一 样 。 我 们 在 世 的 日 子 如 影 儿 ， 不 能 长 存 （ 或 作 没 有 长 存 的 指 望 ） 。
