11:1 [hgb]  以 色 列 众 人 聚 集 到 希 伯 仑 见 大 卫 ， 说 ， 我 们 原 是 你 的 骨 肉 。
    [kjv]  Then all Israel gathered themselves to David unto Hebron, saying, Behold, we are thy bone and thy flesh.
    [bbe]  Then all Israel came together to David at Hebron, and said, Truly, we are your bone and your flesh.
11:2 [hgb]  从 前 扫 罗 作 王 的 时 候 ， 率 领 以 色 列 人 出 入 的 是 你 。 耶 和 华 你 的 神 也 曾 应 许 你 说 ， 你 必 牧 养 我 的 民 以 色 列 ， 作 以 色 列 的 君 。
    [kjv]  And moreover in time past, even when Saul was king, thou wast he that leddest out and broughtest in Israel: and the LORD thy God said unto thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be ruler over my people Israel.
    [bbe]  In the past, when Saul was king, it was you who went at the head of Israel when they went out or came in; and the Lord your God said to you, You are to be the keeper of my people Israel, and their ruler.
11:3 [hgb]  于 是 以 色 列 的 长 老 都 来 到 希 伯 仑 见 大 卫 王 。 大 卫 在 希 伯 仑 耶 和 华 面 前 与 他 们 立 约 ， 他 们 就 膏 大 卫 作 以 色 列 的 王 ， 是 照 耶 和 华 借 撒 母 耳 所 说 的 话 。
    [kjv]  Therefore came all the elders of Israel to the king to Hebron; and David made a covenant with them in Hebron before the LORD; and they anointed David king over Israel, according to the word of the LORD by Samuel.
    [bbe]  So all the responsible men of Israel came to the king at Hebron; and David made an agreement with them in Hebron before the Lord; and they put the holy oil on David and made him king over Israel, as the Lord had said by Samuel.
11:4 [hgb]  大 卫 和 以 色 列 众 人 到 了 耶 路 撒 冷 ， 就 是 耶 布 斯 。 那 时 耶 布 斯 人 住 在 那 里 。
    [kjv]  And David and all Israel went to Jerusalem, which is Jebus; where the Jebusites were, the inhabitants of the land.
    [bbe]  Then David and all Israel went to Jerusalem (which is Jebus); and the Jebusites, the people of the land, were there.
11:5 [hgb]  耶 布 斯 人 对 大 卫 说 ， 你 决 不 能 进 这 地 方 。 然 而 大 卫 攻 取 锡 安 的 保 障 ， 就 是 大 卫 的 城 。
    [kjv]  And the inhabitants of Jebus said to David, Thou shalt not come hither. Nevertheless David took the castle of Zion, which is the city of David.
    [bbe]  And the people of Jebus said to David, You will not come in here. But still, David took the strong place of Zion, which is the town of David.
11:6 [hgb]  大 卫 说 ， 谁 先 攻 打 耶 布 斯 人 ， 必 作 首 领 元 帅 。 洗 鲁 雅 的 儿 子 约 押 先 上 去 ， 就 作 了 元 帅 。
    [kjv]  And David said, Whosoever smiteth the Jebusites first shall be chief and captain. So Joab the son of Zeruiah went first up, and was chief.
    [bbe]  And David said, The first to overcome the Jebusites will be chief and captain. And Joab, the son of Zeruiah, went up first, and became chief.
11:7 [hgb]  大 卫 住 在 保 障 里 ， 所 以 那 保 障 叫 作 大 卫 城 。
    [kjv]  And David dwelt in the castle; therefore they called it the city of David.
    [bbe]  And David took the strong tower for his living-place, so it was named the town of David.
11:8 [hgb]  大 卫 又 从 米 罗 起 ， 四 围 建 筑 城 墙 ， 其 余 的 是 约 押 修 理 。
    [kjv]  And he built the city round about, even from Millo round about: and Joab repaired the rest of the city.
    [bbe]  And he took in hand the building of the town all round, starting from the Millo; and Joab put the rest of the town in order.
11:9 [hgb]  大 卫 日 见 强 盛 ， 因 为 万 军 之 耶 和 华 与 他 同 在 。
    [kjv]  So David waxed greater and greater: for the LORD of hosts was with him.
    [bbe]  And David became greater and greater in power, because the Lord of armies was with him.
11:10 [hgb]  以 下 记 录 跟 随 大 卫 勇 士 的 首 领 ， 就 是 奋 勇 帮 助 他 得 国 ， 照 着 耶 和 华 吩 咐 以 色 列 人 的 话 ， 与 以 色 列 人 一 同 立 他 作 王 的 。
    [kjv]  These also are the chief of the mighty men whom David had, who strengthened themselves with him in his kingdom, and with all Israel, to make him king, according to the word of the LORD concerning Israel.
    [bbe]  Now these are the chief of David's men of war who were his strong supporters in the kingdom, and, with all Israel, made him king, as the Lord had said about Israel.
11:11 [hgb]  大 卫 勇 士 的 数 目 记 在 下 面 ， 哈 革 摩 尼 的 儿 子 雅 朔 班 ， 他 是 军 长 的 统 领 ， 一 时 举 枪 杀 了 三 百 人 。
    [kjv]  And this is the number of the mighty men whom David had; Jashobeam, an Hachmonite, the chief of the captains: he lifted up his spear against three hundred slain by him at one time.
    [bbe]  This is the list of David's men of war: Ishbaal, the son of a Hachmonite, the chief of the three: he put to death three hundred at one time with his spear.
11:12 [hgb]  其 次 是 亚 合 人 朵 多 的 儿 子 以 利 亚 撒 ， 他 是 三 个 勇 士 里 的 一 个 。
    [kjv]  And after him was Eleazar the son of Dodo, the Ahohite, who was one of the three mighties.
    [bbe]  And after him was Eleazar, the son of Dodo the Ahohite, who was one of the three great fighters.
11:13 [hgb]  他 从 前 与 大 卫 在 巴 斯 达 闵 ， 非 利 士 人 聚 集 要 打 仗 。 那 里 有 一 块 长 满 大 麦 的 田 ， 众 民 就 在 非 利 士 人 面 前 逃 跑 。
    [kjv]  He was with David at Pasdammim, and there the Philistines were gathered together to battle, where was a parcel of ground full of barley; and the people fled from before the Philistines.
    [bbe]  He was with David at Pas-dammim, where the Philistines had come together for the fight, near a bit of land full of barley; and the people went in flight before the Philistines.
11:14 [hgb]  这 勇 士 便 站 在 那 田 间 击 杀 非 利 士 人 ， 救 护 了 那 田 。 耶 和 华 使 以 色 列 人 大 获 全 胜 。
    [kjv]  And they set themselves in the midst of that parcel, and delivered it, and slew the Philistines; and the LORD saved them by a great deliverance.
    [bbe]  And he took up his position in the middle of the bit of land, and kept back their attack, and overcame the Philistines; and the Lord gave a great salvation.
11:15 [hgb]  三 十 个 勇 士 中 的 三 个 人 下 到 磐 石 那 里 ， 进 了 亚 杜 兰 洞 见 大 卫 。 非 利 士 的 军 队 在 利 乏 音 谷 安 营 。
    [kjv]  Now three of the thirty captains went down to the rock to David, into the cave of Adullam; and the host of the Philistines encamped in the valley of Rephaim.
    [bbe]  And three of the thirty went down to David, to the rock, into the strong place of Adullam; and the army of the Philistines had taken up their position in the valley of Rephaim.
11:16 [hgb]  那 时 大 卫 在 山 寨 ， 非 利 士 人 的 防 营 在 伯 利 恒 。
    [kjv]  And David was then in the hold, and the Philistines' garrison was then at Bethlehem.
    [bbe]  At that time David had taken cover in the strong place, and an armed force of the Philistines was in Beth-lehem.
11:17 [hgb]  大 卫 渴 想 ， 说 ， 甚 愿 有 人 将 伯 利 恒 城 门 旁 井 里 的 水 打 来 给 我 喝 。
    [kjv]  And David longed, and said, Oh that one would give me drink of the water of the well of Bethlehem, that is at the gate!
    [bbe]  And David, moved by a strong desire, said, If only someone would give me a drink of the water from the water-hole of Beth-lehem by the doorway into the town!
11:18 [hgb]  这 三 个 勇 士 就 闯 过 非 利 士 人 的 营 盘 ， 从 伯 利 恒 城 门 旁 的 井 里 打 水 ， 拿 来 奉 给 大 卫 。 他 却 不 肯 喝 ， 将 水 奠 在 耶 和 华 面 前 ，
    [kjv]  And the three brake through the host of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Bethlehem, that was by the gate, and took it, and brought it to David: but David would not drink of it, but poured it out to the LORD,
    [bbe]  So the three, forcing a way through the Philistine army, got water from the water-hole of Beth-lehem, by the doorway into the town, and took it back to David; but David would not take it, but made an offering of it, draining it out to the Lord,
11:19 [hgb]  说 ， 我 的 神 阿 ， 这 三 个 人 冒 死 去 打 水 ， 这 水 好 像 他 们 的 血 一 般 ， 我 断 不 敢 喝 。 如 此 ， 大 卫 不 肯 喝 。 这 是 三 个 勇 士 所 作 的 事 。
    [kjv]  And said, My God forbid it me, that I should do this thing: shall I drink the blood of these men that have put their lives in jeopardy? for with the jeopardy of their lives they brought it. Therefore he would not drink it. These things did these three mightiest.
    [bbe]  Saying, By my God, far be it from m............
