3:1 [hgb] 我 儿 ， 不 要 忘 记 我 的 法 则 。 （ 或 作 指 教 ） 你 心 要 谨 守 我 的 诫 命 。
[kjv] My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
[bbe] My son, keep my teaching in your memory, and my rules in your heart:
3:2 [hgb] 因 为 他 必 将 长 久 的 日 子 ， 生 命 的 年 数 ， 与 平 安 ， 加 给 你 。
[kjv] For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
[bbe] For they will give you increase of days, years of life, and peace.
3:3 [hgb] 不 可 使 慈 爱 诚 实 离 开 你 。 要 系 在 你 颈 项 上 ， 刻 在 你 心 版 上 。
[kjv] Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
[bbe] Let not mercy and good faith go from you; let them be hanging round your neck, recorded on your heart;
3:4 [hgb] 这 样 ， 你 必 在 神 和 世 人 眼 前 蒙 恩 宠 ， 有 聪 明 。
[kjv] So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
[bbe] So you will have grace and a good name in the eyes of God and men.
3:5 [hgb] 你 要 专 心 仰 赖 耶 和 华 ， 不 可 倚 靠 自 己 的 聪 明 。
[kjv] Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
[bbe] Put all your hope in God, not looking to your reason for support.
3:6 [hgb] 在 你 一 切 所 行 的 事 上 ， 都 要 认 定 他 ， 他 必 指 引 你 的 路 。
[kjv] In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
[bbe] In all your ways give ear to him, and he will make straight your footsteps.
3:7 [hgb] 不 要 自 以 为 有 智 慧 。 要 敬 畏 耶 和 华 ， 远 离 恶 事 。
[kjv] Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
[bbe] Put no high value on your wisdom: let the fear of the Lord be before you, and keep yourself from evil:
3:8 [hgb] 这 便 医 治 你 的 肚 脐 ， 滋 润 你 的 百 骨 。
[kjv] It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.
[bbe] This will give strength to your flesh, and new life to your bones.
3:9 [hgb] 你 要 以 财 物 ， 和 一 切 初 熟 的 土 产 ， 尊 荣 耶 和 华 。
[kjv] Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
[bbe] Give honour to the Lord with your wealth, and with the first-fruits of all your increase:
3:10 [hgb] 这 样 ， 你 的 仓 房 ， 必 充 满 有 余 ， 你 的 酒 榨 ， 有 新 酒 盈 溢 。
[kjv] So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
[bbe] So your store-houses will be full of grain, and your vessels overflowing with new wine.
3:11 [hgb] 我 儿 ， 你 不 可 轻 看 耶 和 华 的 管 教 ， （ 或 作 惩 治 ） 也 不 可 厌 烦 他 的 责 备 。
[kjv] My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction:
[bbe] My son, do not make your heart hard against the Lord's teaching; do not be made angry by his training:
3:12 [hgb] 因 为 耶 和 华 所 爱 的 ， 他 必 责 备 。 正 如 父 亲 责 备 所 喜 爱 的 儿 子 。
[kjv] For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.
[bbe] For to those who are dear to him the Lord says sharp words, and makes the son in whom he has delight undergo pain.
3:13 [hgb] 得 智 慧 ， 得 聪 明 的 ， 这 人 便 为 有 福 。
[kjv] Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.
[bbe] Happy is the man who makes discovery of wisdom, and he who gets knowledge.
3:14 [hgb] 因 为 得 智 慧 胜 过 得 银 子 ， 其 利 益 强 如 精 金 。
[kjv] For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.
[bbe] For trading in it is better than trading in silver, and its profit greater than bright gold.
3:15 [hgb] 比 珍 珠 （ 或 作 红 宝 石 ） 宝 贵 。 你 一 切 所 喜 爱 的 ， 都 不 足 与 比 较 。
[kjv] She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.
[bbe] She is of more value than jewels, and nothing for which you may have a desire is fair in comparison with her.
3:16 [hgb] 他 右 手 有 长 寿 。 左 手 有 富 贵 。
[kjv] Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.
[bbe] Long life is in her right hand, and in her left are wealth and honour.
3:17 [hgb] 他 的 道 是 安 乐 ， 他 的 路 全 是 平 安 。
[kjv] Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.
[bbe] Her ways are ways of delight, and all her goings are peace.
3:18 [hgb] 他 与 持 守 他 的 作 生 命 树 。 持 定 他 的 俱 各 有 福 。
[kjv] She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.
[bbe] She is a tree of life to all who take her in their hands, and happy is everyone who keeps her.
3:19 [hgb] 耶 和 华 以 智 慧 立 地 。 以 聪 明 定 天 。
[kjv] The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.
[bbe] The Lord by wisdom put in position the bases of the earth; by reason he put the heavens in their place.
3:20 [hgb] 以 知 识 使 深 渊 裂 开 ， 使 天 空 滴 下 甘 露 。
[kjv] By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew.
[bbe] By his knowledge the deep was parted, and dew came dropping from the skies.
3:21 [hgb] 我 儿 ， 要 谨 守 真 智 慧 和 谋 略 。 不 可 使 他 离 开 你 的 眼 目 。
[kjv] My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion:
[bbe] My son, keep good sense, and do not let wise purpose go from your eyes.
3:22 [hgb] 这 样 ， 他 必 作 你 的 生 命 ， 颈 项 的 美 饰 。
[kjv] So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck.
[bbe] So they will be life for your soul, and grace for your neck.
3:23 [hgb] 你 就 坦 然 行 路 ， 不 至 碰 脚 。
[kjv] Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble.
[bbe] Then you will go safely on your way, and your feet will have no cause for slipping.
3:24 [hgb] 你 躺 下 ， 必 不 惧 怕 。 你 躺 卧 ， 睡 得 香 甜 。
[kjv] When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.
[bbe] When you take your rest you will have no fear, and on your bed sleep will be sweet to you.
3:25 [hgb] 忽 然 来 的 惊 恐 ， 不 要 害 怕 。 恶 人 遭 毁 灭 ， 也 不 要 恐 惧 。
[kjv] Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh.
[bbe] Have no fear of sudden danger, or of the storm which will come on evil-doers:
3:26 [hgb] 因 为 耶 和 华 是 你 所 倚 靠 的 。 他 必 保 守 你 的 脚 不 陷 入 网 罗 。
[kjv] For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.
[bbe] For the Lord will be your hope, and will keep your foot from being taken in the net.
3:27 [hgb] 你 手 若 有 行 善 的 力 量 ， 不 可 推 辞 ， 就 当 向 那 应 得 的 人 施 行 。
[kjv] Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.
[bbe] Do not keep back good from those who have a right to it, when it is in the power of your hand to do it.
3:28 [hgb] 你 那 里 若 有 现 成 的 ， 不 可 对 邻 舍 说 ， 去 吧 ， 明 天 再 来 ， 我 必 给 你 。
[kjv] Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and to morrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee.
[bbe] Say not to your neighbour, Go, and come again, and tomorrow I will give; when you have it by you at the time.
3:29 [hgb] 你 的 邻 舍 ， 既 在 你 附 近 安 居 ， 你 不 可 设 计 害 他 。
[kjv] Devise not evil against thy neighbour, seeing he dwelleth securely by thee.
[bbe] Do not make evil designs against your neighbour, when he is living with you without fear.
3:30 [hgb] 人 未 曾 加 害 与 你 ， 不 可 无 故 与 他 相 争 。
[kjv] Strive not with a man without cause, if he have done thee no harm.
[bbe] Do not take up a cause at law against a man for nothing, if he has done you no wrong.
3:31 [hgb] 不 可 嫉 妒 强 暴 的 人 ， 也 不 可 选 择 他 所 行 的 路 。
[kjv] Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways.
[bbe] Have no envy of the violent man, or take any of his ways as an example.
3:32 [hgb] 因 为 乖 僻 人 为 耶 和 华 所 憎 恶 。 正 直 人 为 他 所 亲 密 。
[kjv] For the froward is abomination to the LORD: but his secret is with the righteous.
[bbe] For the wrong-hearted man is hated by the Lord, but he is a friend to the upright.
3:33 [hgb] 耶 和 华 咒 诅 恶 人 的 家 庭 ， 赐 福 与 义 人 的 居 所 。
[kjv] The curse of the LORD is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just.
[bbe] The curse of the Lord is on the house of the evil-doer, but his blessing is on the tent of the upright.
3:34 [hgb] 他 讥 诮 那 好 讥 诮 的 人 ， 赐 恩 给 谦 卑 的 人 。
[kjv] Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly.
[bbe] He makes sport of the men of pride, but he gives grace to the gentle-hearted.
3:35 [hgb] 智 慧 人 必 承 受 尊 荣 。 愚 昧 人 高 升 也 成 为 羞 辱 。
[kjv] The wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the promotion of fools.
[bbe] The wise will have glory for their heritage, but shame will be the reward of the foolish.
