38:1 [hgb]  那 时 希 西 家 病 得 要 死 ， 亚 摩 斯 的 儿 子 先 知 以 赛 亚 去 见 他 ， 对 他 说 ， 耶 和 华 如 此 说 ， 你 当 留 遗 命 与 你 的 家 ， 因 为 你 必 死 不 能 活 了 。
    [kjv]  In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live.
    [bbe]  In those days Hezekiah was ill and near death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, came to him, and said to him, The Lord says, Put your house in order; for your death is near.
38:2 [hgb]  希 西 家 就 转 脸 朝 墙 ， 祷 告 耶 和 华 说 ，
    [kjv]  Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed unto the LORD,
    [bbe]  And Hezekiah, turning his face to the wall, made his prayer to the Lord, saying,
38:3 [hgb]  耶 和 华 阿 ， 求 你 记 念 我 在 你 面 前 怎 样 存 完 全 的 心 ， 按 诚 实 行 事 ， 又 作 你 眼 中 所 看 为 善 的 。 希 西 家 就 痛 哭 了 。
    [kjv]  And said, Remember now, O LORD, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.
    [bbe]  O Lord, keep in mind how I have been true to you with all my heart, and have done what is good in your eyes. And Hezekiah gave way to bitter weeping.
38:4 [hgb]  耶 和 华 的 话 临 到 以 赛 亚 说 ，
    [kjv]  Then came the word of the LORD to Isaiah, saying,
    [bbe]  Then the word of the Lord came to Isaiah, saying,
38:5 [hgb]  你 去 告 诉 希 西 家 说 ， 耶 和 华 你 祖 大 卫 的 神 如 此 说 ， 我 听 见 了 你 的 祷 告 ， 看 见 了 你 的 眼 泪 ， 我 必 加 增 你 十 五 年 的 寿 数 。
    [kjv]  Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years.
    [bbe]  Go to Hezekiah, and say, The Lord, the God of David, your father, says, Your prayer has come to my ears, and I have seen your weeping: see, I will give you fifteen more years of life.
38:6 [hgb]  并 且 我 要 救 你 和 这 城 脱 离 亚 述 王 的 手 ， 也 要 保 护 这 城 。
    [kjv]  And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria: and I will defend this city.
    [bbe]  And I will keep you and this town safe from the hands of the king of Assyria: and I will keep watch over this town.
38:7 [hgb]  我 耶 和 华 必 成 就 我 所 说 的 ， 我 先 给 你 一 个 兆 头 。
    [kjv]  And this shall be a sign unto thee from the LORD, that the LORD will do this thing that he hath spoken;
    [bbe]  And Isaiah said, This is the sign the Lord will give you, that he will do what he has said:
38:8 [hgb]  就 是 叫 亚 哈 斯 的 日 晷 ， 向 前 进 的 日 影 往 后 退 十 度 。 于 是 前 进 的 日 影 ， 果 然 在 日 晷 上 往 后 退 了 十 度 。
    [kjv]  Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down.
    [bbe]  See, I will make the shade which has gone down on the steps of Ahaz with the sun, go back ten steps. So the shade went back the ten steps by which it had gone down.
38:9 [hgb]  犹 大 王 希 西 家 患 病 ， 已 经 痊 愈 ， 就 作 诗 说 ，
    [kjv]  The writing of Hezekiah king of Judah, when he had been sick, and was recovered of his sickness:
    [bbe]  The writing of Hezekiah, king of Judah, after he had been ill, and had got better from his disease.
38:10 [hgb]  我 说 ， 正 在 我 中 年 （ 或 作 晌 午 ） 之 日 ， 必 进 入 阴 间 的 门 。 我 余 剩 的 年 岁 不 得 享 受 。
    [kjv]  I said in the cutting off of my days, I shall go to the gates of the grave: I am deprived of the residue of my years.
    [bbe]  I said, In the quiet of my days I am going down into the underworld: the rest of my years are being taken away from me.
38:11 [hgb]  我 说 ， 我 必 不 得 见 耶 和 华 ， 就 是 在 活 人 之 地 不 见 耶 和 华 。 我 与 世 上 的 居 民 不 再 见 面 。
    [kjv]  I said, I shall not see the LORD, even the LORD, in the land of the living: I shall behold man no more with the inhabitants of the world.
    [bbe]  I said, I will not see the Lord, even the Lord in the land of the living: I will not see man again or those living in the world.
38:12 [hgb]  我 的 住 处 被 迁 去 离 开 我 ， 好 像 牧 人 的 帐 棚 一 样 。 我 将 性 命 卷 起 ， 像 织 布 的 卷 布 一 样 。 耶 和 华 必 将 我 从 机 头 ............
