16:1 [hgb]  耶 和 华 的 话 又 临 到 我 说 ， 
    [kjv]  The word of the LORD came also unto me, saying,
    [bbe]  Then again the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
16:2 [hgb]  你 在 这 地 方 不 可 娶 妻 ， 生 儿 养 女 。 
    [kjv]  Thou shalt not take thee a wife, neither shalt thou have sons or daughters in this place.
    [bbe]  You are not to take a wife for yourself or have sons or daughters in this place.
16:3 [hgb]  因 为 论 到 在 这 地 方 所 生 的 儿 女 ， 又 论 到 在 这 国 中 生 养 他 们 的 父 母 ， 耶 和 华 如 此 说 ， 
    [kjv]  For thus saith the LORD concerning the sons and concerning the daughters that are born in this place, and concerning their mothers that bare them, and concerning their fathers that begat them in this land;
    [bbe]  For this is what the Lord has said about the sons and daughters who come to birth in this place, and about their mothers who have given them birth, and about their fathers who have given life to them in this land:
16:4 [hgb]  他 们 必 死 得 甚 苦 ， 无 人 哀 哭 ， 必 不 得 葬 埋 ， 必 在 地 上 像 粪 土 ， 必 被 刀 剑 和 饥 荒 灭 绝 。 他 们 的 尸 首 必 给 空 中 的 飞 鸟 和 地 上 的 野 兽 作 食 物 。 
    [kjv]  They shall die of grievous deaths; they shall not be lamented; neither shall they be buried; but they shall be as dung upon the face of the earth: and they shall be consumed by the sword, and by famine; and their carcases shall be meat for the fowls of heaven, and for the beasts of the earth.
    [bbe]  Death from evil diseases will overtake them; there will be no weeping for them and their bodies will not be put to rest; they will be like waste on the face of the earth: the sword and need of food will put an end to them; their dead bodies will be meat for the birds of heaven and for the beasts of the earth.
16:5 [hgb]  耶 和 华 如 此 说 ， 不 要 进 入 丧 家 ， 不 要 去 哀 哭 ， 也 不 要 为 他 们 悲 伤 ， 因 我 已 将 我 的 平 安 ， 慈 爱 ， 怜 悯 从 这 百 姓 夺 去 了 。 这 是 耶 和 华 说 的 。 
    [kjv]  For thus saith the LORD, Enter not into the house of mourning, neither go to lament nor bemoan them: for I have taken away my peace from this people, saith the LORD, even lovingkindness and mercies.
    [bbe]  For this is what the Lord has said: Do not go into the house of sorrow, do not go to make weeping or songs of grief for them: for I have taken away my peace from this people, says the Lord, even mercy and pity.
16:6 [hgb]  连 大 带 小 ， 都 必 在 这 地 死 亡 ， 不 得 葬 埋 。 人 必 不 为 他 们 哀 哭 ， 不 用 刀 划 身 ， 也 不 使 头 光 秃 。 
    [kjv]  Both the great and the small shall die in this land: they shall not be buried, neither shall men lament for them, nor cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them:
    [bbe]  Death will overtake great as well as small in the land: their bodies will not be put in a resting-place, and no one will be weeping for them or wounding themselves or cutting off their hair for them:
16:7 [hgb]  他 们 有 丧 事 ， 人 必 不 为 他 们 掰 饼 ， 因 死 人 安 慰 他 们 。 他 们 丧 父 丧 母 ， 人 也 不 给 他 们 一 杯 酒 安 慰 他 们 。 
    [kjv]  Neither shall men tear themselves for them in mourning, to comfort them for the dead; neither shall men give them the cup of consolation to drink for their father or for their mother.
    [bbe]  No one will make a feast for them in sorrow, to give them comfort for the dead, or put to their lips the cup of comfort on account of their father or their mother.
16:8 [hgb]  你 不 可 进 入 宴 乐 的 家 ， 与 他 们 同 坐 吃 喝 。 
    [kjv]  Thou shalt not also go into the house of feasting, to sit with them to eat and to drink.
    [bbe]  And you are not to go into the house of feasting, or be seated with them to take food or drink.
16:9 [hgb]  因 为 万 军 之 耶 和 华 以 色 列 的 神 如 此 说 ， 你 们 还 活 着 的 日 子 在 你 们 眼 前 ， 我 必 使 欢 喜 和 快 乐 的 声 音 ， 新 郎 和 新 妇 的 声 音 ， 从 这 地 方 止 息 了 。 
    [kjv]  For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place in your eyes, and in your days, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride.
    [bbe]  For the Lord of armies, the God of Israel, has said, See, before your eyes and in your days I will put an end in this place to the laughing voices and the voice of joy; to the voice of the newly-married man and the voice of the bride.
16:10 [hgb]  你 将 这 一 切 的 话 指 示 这 百 姓 。 他 们 问 你 说 ， 耶 和 华 为 什 么 说 ， 要 降 这 大 灾 祸 攻 击 我 们 呢 ？ 我 们 有 什 么 罪 孽 呢 ？ 我 们 向 耶 和 华 我 们 的 神 犯 了 什 么 罪 呢 ？ 
    [kjv]  And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt shew this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, Wherefore hath the LORD pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against the LORD our God?
    [bbe]  And it will be, that when you say all these words to the people, then they will say to you, Why has the Lord done all this evil against us? what is our wrongdoing and what is our sin which we have done against the Lord our God?
16:11 [hgb]  你 就 对 他 们 说 ， 耶 和 华 说 ， 因 为 你 们 列 祖 离 弃 我 ， 随 从 别 神 ， 事 奉 敬 拜 ， 不 遵 守 我 的 律 法 ， 
    [kjv]  Then shalt thou say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, saith the LORD, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and ............
