14:1 [hgb]  你 们 心 里 不 要 忧 愁 。 你 们 信 神 ， 也 当 信 我 。
    [kjv]  Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
    [bbe]  Let not your heart be troubled: have faith in God and have faith in me.
14:2 [hgb]  在 我 父 的 家 里 ， 有 许 多 住 处 。 若 是 没 有 ， 我 就 早 已 告 诉 你 们 了 。 我 去 原 是 为 你 们 预 备 地 方 去 。
    [kjv]  In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
    [bbe]  In my Father's house are rooms enough; if it was not so, would I have said that I am going to make ready a place for you?
14:3 [hgb]  我 若 去 为 你 们 预 备 了 地 方 ， 就 必 再 来 接 你 们 到 我 那 里 去 ， 我 在 哪 里 ， 叫 你 们 也 在 哪 里 。
    [kjv]  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
    [bbe]  And if I go and make ready a place for you, I will come back again and will take you to be with me, so that you may be where I am.
14:4 [hgb]  我 往 哪 里 去 ， 你 们 知 道 。 那 条 路 ， 你 们 也 知 道 。 （ 有 古 卷 作 我 往 哪 里 去 你 们 知 道 那 条 路 ）
    [kjv]  And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
    [bbe]  And you all have knowledge of where I am going, and of the way to it.
14:5 [hgb]  多 马 对 他 说 ， 主 阿 ， 我 们 不 知 道 你 往 哪 里 去 ， 怎 么 知 道 那 条 路 呢 ？
    [kjv]  Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
    [bbe]  Thomas said, Lord, we have no knowledge of where you are going; how may we have knowledge of the way?
14:6 [hgb]  耶 稣 说 ， 我 就 是 道 路 ， 真 理 ， 生 命 。 若 不 借 着 我 。 没 有 人 能 到 父 那 里 去 。
    [kjv]  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
    [bbe]  Jesus said to him, I am the true and living way: no one comes to the Father but by me.
14:7 [hgb]  你 们 若 认 识 我 ， 也 就 认 识 我 的 父 。 从 今 以 后 ， 你 们 认 识 他 ， 并 且 已 经 看 见 他 。
    [kjv]  If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
    [bbe]  If you had knowledge of me, you would have knowledge of my Father: you have knowledge of him now and have seen him.
14:8 [hgb]  腓 力 对 他 说 ， 求 主 将 父 显 给 我 们 看 ， 我 们 就 知 足 了 。
    [kjv]  Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
    [bbe]  Philip said to him, Lord, let us see the Father, and we have need of nothing more.
14:9 [hgb]  耶 稣 对 他 说 ， 腓 力 ， 我 与 你 们 同 在 这 样 长 久 ， 你 还 不 认 识 我 吗 ？ 人 看 见 了 我 ， 就 是 看 见 了 父 。 你 怎 么 说 ， 将 父 显 给 我 们 看 呢 ？
    [kjv]  Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
    [bbe]  Jesus said to him, Philip, have I been with you all this time, and still you have no knowledge of me? He who has seen me has seen the Father. Why do you say, Let us see the Father?
14:10 [hgb]  我 在 父 里 面 ， 父 在 我 里 面 ， 你 不 信 吗 ？ 我 对 你 们 所 说 的 话 ， 不 是 凭 着 自 己 说 的 ， 乃 是 住 在 我 里 面 的 父 作 他 自 己 的 事 。
    [kjv]  Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
    [bbe]  Have you not faith that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words which I say to you, I say not from myself: but the Father who is in me all the time does his works.
14:11 [hgb]  你 们 当 信 我 ， 我 在 父 里 面 ， 父 在 我 里 面 。 即 或 不 信 ， 也 当 因 我 所 作 的 事 信 我 。
    [kjv]  Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
    [bbe]  Have faith that I am in the Father and that the Father is in me: at least, have faith in me because of what I do.
14:12 [hgb]  我 实 实 在 在 地 告 诉 你 们 ， 我 所 作 的 事 ， 信 我 的 人 也 要 作 。 并 且 要 作 比 这 更 大 的 事 。 因 为 我 往 父 那 里 去 。
    [kjv]  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
    [bbe]  Truly I say to you, He who puts his faith in me will do the very works which I do, and he will do greater things than these, because I am going to my Father.
14:13 [hgb]  你 们 奉 我 的 名 ， 无 论 求 什 么 ， 我 必 成 就 ， 叫 父 因 儿 子 得 荣 耀 。
    [kjv]  And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
    [bbe]  And whatever request you make in my name, that I will do, so that the Father may have glory in the Son.
14:14 [hgb]  你 们 若 奉 我 的 名 求 什 么 ， 我 必 成 就 。
    [kjv]  If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
    [bbe]  If you make any request to me in my name, I will do it.
14:15 [hgb]  你 们 若 爱 我 ， 就 必 遵 守 我 的 命 令 。
    [kjv]  If ye love me, keep my commandments.
    [bbe]  If you have love for me, you will keep my laws.
14:16 [hgb]  我 要 求 父 ， 父 就 另 外 赐 给 你 们 一 位 保 惠 师 ， （ 或 作 训 慰 师 下 同 ） 叫 他 永 远 与 你 们 同 在 。
    [kjv]  And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
    [bbe]  And I will make prayer to the Father and he will give you another Helper to be with you for ever,
14:17 [hgb]  就 是 真 理 的 圣 灵 ， 乃 世 人 不 能 接 受 的 。 因 为 不 见 他 ， 也 不 认 识 他 。 你 们 却 认 识 他 。 因 他 常 与 你 们 同 在 ， 也 要 在 你 们 里 面 。
