12:1 [hgb]  约 伯 回 答 说 ，
    [kjv]  And Job answered and said,
    [bbe]  And Job made answer and said,
12:2 [hgb]  你 们 真 是 子 民 哪 ， 你 们 死 亡 ， 智 慧 也 就 灭 没 了 。
    [kjv]  No doubt but ye are the people, and wisdom shall die with you.
    [bbe]  No doubt you have knowledge, and wisdom will come to an end with you.
12:3 [hgb]  但 我 也 有 聪 明 ， 与 你 们 一 样 ， 并 非 不 及 你 们 。 你 们 所 说 的 ， 谁 不 知 道 呢 ？
    [kjv]  But I have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you: yea, who knoweth not such things as these?
    [bbe]  But I have a mind as well as you; I am equal to you: yes, who has not knowledge of such things as these?
12:4 [hgb]  我 这 求 告 神 ， 蒙 他 应 允 的 人 ， 竟 成 了 朋 友 所 讥 笑 的 。 公 义 完 全 人 ， 竟 受 了 人 的 讥 笑 。
    [kjv]  I am as one mocked of his neighbour, who calleth upon God, and he answereth him: the just upright man is laughed to scorn.
    [bbe]  It seems that I am to be as one who is a cause of laughing to his neighbour, one who makes his prayer to God and is answered! the upright man who has done no wrong is to be made sport of!
12:5 [hgb]  安 逸 的 人 ， 心 里 藐 视 灾 祸 。 这 灾 祸 常 常 等 待 滑 脚 的 人 。
    [kjv]  He that is ready to slip with his feet is as a lamp despised in the thought of him that is at ease.
    [bbe]  In the thought of him who is in comfort there is no respect for one who is in trouble; such is the fate of those whose feet are slipping.
12:6 [hgb]  强 盗 的 帐 棚 兴 旺 ， 惹 神 的 人 稳 固 ， 神 多 将 财 物 送 到 他 们 手 中 。
    [kjv]  The tabernacles of robbers prosper, and they that provoke God are secure; into whose hand God bringeth abundantly.
    [bbe]  There is wealth in the tents of those who make destruction, and those by whom God is moved to wrath are safe; even those whose god is their strength.
12:7 [hgb]  你 且 问 走 兽 ， 走 兽 必 指 教 你 。 又 问 空 中 的 飞 鸟 ， 飞 鸟 必 告 诉 你 。
    [kjv]  But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee:
    [bbe]  But put now a question to the beasts, and get teaching from them; or to the birds of the heaven, and they will make it clear to you;
12:8 [hgb]  或 与 地 说 话 ， 地 必 指 教 你 。 海 中 的 鱼 也 必 向 你 说 明 。
    [kjv]  Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.
    [bbe]  Or to the things which go flat on the earth, and they will give you wisdom; and the fishes of the sea will give you news of it.
12:9 [hgb]  看 这 一 切 ， 谁 不 知 道 是 耶 和 华 的 手 做 成 的 呢 ？
    [kjv]  Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this?
    [bbe]  Who does not see by all these that the hand of the Lord has done this?
12:10 [hgb]  凡 活 物 的 生 命 ， 和 人 类 的 气 息 ， 都 在 他 手 中 。
    [kjv]  In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.
    [bbe]  In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all flesh of man.
12:11 [hgb]  耳 朵 岂 不 试 验 言 语 ， 正 如 上 膛 尝 食 物 吗 ？
    [kjv]  Doth not the ear try words? and the mouth taste his meat?
    [bbe]  Are not words tested by the ear, even as food is tasted by the mouth?
12:12 [hgb]  年 老 的 有 智 慧 ， 寿 高 的 有 知 识 。
    [kjv]  With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding.
    [bbe]  Old men have wisdom, and a long life gives knowledge.
12:13 [hgb]  在 神 有 智 慧 和 能 力 ， 他 有 谋 略 和 知 识 。
 ............
