40:1 [hgb]  （ 大 卫 的 诗 ， 交 与 伶 长 ） 我 曾 耐 性 等 候 耶 和 华 。 他 垂 听 我 的 呼 求 。 
    [kjv]  I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
    [bbe]  <To the chief music-maker. Of David. A Psalm.> When I was waiting quietly for the Lord, his heart was turned to me, and he gave ear to my cry.
40:2 [hgb]  他 从 祸 坑 里 ， 从 淤 泥 中 ， 把 我 拉 上 来 ， 使 我 的 脚 立 在 磐 石 上 ， 使 我 脚 步 稳 当 。 
    [kjv]  He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
    [bbe]  He took me up out of a deep waste place, out of the soft and sticky earth; he put my feet on a rock, and made my steps certain.
40:3 [hgb]  他 使 我 口 唱 新 歌 ， 就 是 赞 美 我 们 神 的 话 。 许 多 人 必 看 见 而 惧 怕 ， 并 要 倚 靠 耶 和 华 。 
    [kjv]  And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
    [bbe]  And he put a new song in my mouth, even praise to our God; numbers have seen it with fear, and put their faith in the Lord.
40:4 [hgb]  那 倚 靠 耶 和 华 ， 不 理 会 狂 傲 和 偏 向 虚 假 之 辈 的 ， 这 人 便 为 有 福 。 
    [kjv]  Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
    [bbe]  Happy is the man who has faith in the Lord, and does not give honour to the men of pride or to those who are turned away to deceit.
40:5 [hgb]  耶 和 华 我 的 神 阿 ， 你 所 行 的 奇 事 ， 并 你 向 我 们 所 怀 的 意 念 甚 多 ， 不 能 向 你 陈 明 。 若 要 陈 明 ， 其 事 不 可 胜 数 。 
    [kjv]  Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.
    [bbe]  O Lord my God, great are the wonders which you have done in your thought for us; it is not possible to put them out in order before you; when I would give an account of them, their number is greater than I may say.
40:6 [hgb]  祭 物 和 礼 物 ， 你 不 喜 悦 。 你 已 经 开 通 我 的 耳 朵 。 燔 祭 和 赎 罪 祭 ， 非 你 所 要 。 
    [kjv]  Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.
    [bbe]  You had no desire for offerings of beasts or fruits of the earth; ears you made for me: for burned offerings and sin offerings you made no request.
40:7 [hgb]  那 时 我 说 ， 看 哪 ， 我 来 了 。 我 的 事 在 经 卷 上 已 经 记 载 了 。 
    [kjv]  Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,
    [bbe]  Then I said, See, I come; it is recorded of me in the roll of the book,
40:8 [hgb]  我 的 神 阿 ， 我 乐 意 照 你 的 旨 意 行 。 你 的 律 法 在 我 心 里 。 
    [kjv]  I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.
    [bbe]  My delight is to do your pleasure, O my God; truly, your law is in my heart.
40:9 [hgb]  我 在 大 会 中 宣 传 公 义 的 佳 音 。 我 必 不 止 住 我 的 嘴 唇 。 耶 和 华 阿 ， 这 是 你 所 知 道 的 。 
    [kjv]  I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O LORD, thou knowest.
