12:1 [hgb]  逾 越 节 前 六 日 ， 耶 稣 来 到 伯 大 尼 ， 就 是 他 叫 拉 撒 路 从 死 里 复 活 之 处 。
    [kjv]  Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.
    [bbe]  Then, six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany where Lazarus was, whom Jesus had made to come back from the dead.
12:2 [hgb]  有 人 在 那 里 给 耶 稣 预 备 筵 席 。 马 大 伺 候 ， 拉 撒 路 也 在 那 同 耶 稣 坐 席 的 人 中 。
    [kjv]  There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him.
    [bbe]  So they made him a meal there, and he was waited on by Martha, and Lazarus was among those who were seated with him at table.
12:3 [hgb]  马 利 亚 就 拿 着 一 斤 极 贵 的 真 哪 哒 香 膏 ， 抹 耶 稣 的 脚 ， 又 用 自 己 头 发 去 擦 。 屋 里 就 满 了 膏 的 香 气 。
    [kjv]  Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.
    [bbe]  Then Mary, taking a pound of perfumed oil of great value, put it on the feet of Jesus and made them dry with her hair: and the house became full of the smell of the perfume.
12:4 [hgb]  有 一 个 门 徒 ， 就 是 那 将 要 卖 耶 稣 的 加 略 人 犹 大 ，
    [kjv]  Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him,
    [bbe]  But one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot (who was to give him up), said,
12:5 [hgb]  说 ， 这 香 膏 为 什 么 不 卖 三 十 两 银 子 周 济 穷 人 呢 ？
    [kjv]  Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?
    [bbe]  Why was not this perfume traded for three hundred pence, and the money given to the poor?
12:6 [hgb]  他 说 这 话 ， 并 不 是 挂 念 穷 人 ， 乃 因 他 是 个 贼 ， 又 带 着 钱 囊 ， 常 取 其 中 所 存 的 。
    [kjv]  This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.
    [bbe]  (He said this, not because he had any love for the poor; but because he was a thief, and, having the money-bag, took for himself what was put into it.)
12:7 [hgb]  耶 稣 说 ， 由 她 吧 ， 她 是 为 我 安 葬 之 日 存 留 的 。
    [kjv]  Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she kept this.
    [bbe]  Then Jesus said, Let her be. Let her keep what she has for the day of my death.
12:8 [hgb]  因 为 常 有 穷 人 和 你 们 同 在 。 只 是 你 们 不 常 有 我 。
    [kjv]  For the poor always ye have with you; but me ye have not always.
    [bbe]  The poor you have ever with you, but me you have not for ever.
12:9 [hgb]  有 许 多 犹 太 人 知 道 耶 稣 在 那 里 ， 就 来 了 ， 不 但 是 为 耶 稣 的 缘 故 ， 也 是 要 看 他 从 死 里 所 复 活 的 拉 撒 路 。
    [kjv]  Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there: and they came not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead.
    [bbe]  Then a great number of the Jews had news that he was there: and they came, not only because of Jesus, but so that they might see Lazarus who had been dead and to whom he had given life.
12:10 [hgb]  但 祭 司 长 商 议 连 拉 撒 路 也 要 杀 了 。
    [kjv]  But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death;
    [bbe]  Now there was talk among the chief priests of putting Lazarus to death;
12:11 [hgb]  因 有 好 些 犹 太 人 ， 为 拉 撒 路 的 缘 故 ， 回 去 信 了 耶 稣 。
    [kjv]  Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus.
    [bbe]  For because of him a great number of the Jews went away and had belief in Jesus.
12:12 [hgb]  第 二 天 ， 有 许 多 上 来 过 节 的 人 ， 听 见 耶 稣 将 到 耶 路 撒 冷 ，
    [kjv]  On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,
    [bbe]  The day after, a great number of people who were there for the feast, when they had the news that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,
12:13 [hgb]  就 拿 着 棕 树 枝 ， 出 去 迎 接 他 ， 喊 着 说 ， 和 散 那 ， 奉 主 名 来 的 以 色 列 王 ， 是 应 当 称 颂 的 。
    [kjv]  Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.
    [bbe]  Took branches of palm-trees and went out to him, crying, A blessing on him who comes in the name of the Lord, the King of Israel!
12:14 [hgb]  耶 稣 得 了 一 个 驴 驹 ， 就 骑 上 。 如 经 上 所 记 的 说 ，
    [kjv]  And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written,
    [bbe]  And Jesus saw a young ass and took his seat on it; as the Writings say,
12:15 [hgb]  锡 安 的 民 哪 ， （ 民 原 文 作 女 子 ） 不 要 惧 怕 ， 你 的 王 骑 着 驴 驹 来 了 。
    [kjv]  Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass's colt.
    [bbe]  Have no fear, daughter of Zion: see your King is coming, seated on a young ass.
12:16 [hgb]  这 些 事 门 徒 起 先 不 明 白 。 等 到 耶 稣 得 了 荣 耀 以 后 ， 才 想 起 这 话 是 指 着 他 写 的 ， 并 且 众 人 果 然 向 他 这 样 行 了 。
    [kjv]  These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him.
    [bbe]  (These things were not clear to his disciples at first: but when Jesus had been lifted up into his glory, then it came to their minds that these things in the Writings were about him and that they had been done to him.)
12:17 [hgb]  当 耶 稣 呼 唤 拉 撒 路 叫 他 从 死 复 活 出 坟 墓 的 时 候 ， 同 耶 稣 在 那 里 的 众 人 ， 就 作 见 证 。
    [kjv]  The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record.
    [bbe]  Now the people who were with him when his voice came to Lazarus in the place of the dead, and gave him life again, had been talking about it.
12:18 [hgb]  众 人 因 听 见 耶 稣 行 了 这 神 迹 ， 就 去 迎 接 他 。
    [kjv]  For this cause the people also met him, for that they heard that he had done this miracle.
    [bbe]  And that was the reason the people went out to him, because it had come to their ears that he had done this sign.
12:19 [hgb]  法 利 赛 人 彼 此 说 ， 看 哪 ， 你 们 是 徒 劳 无 益 ， 世 人 都 随 从 他 去 了 。
    [kjv]  The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.
    [bbe]  Then the Pharisees said one to another, You see, you are unable to do anything: the world has gone after him.
12:20 [hgb]  那 时 ， 上 来 过 节 礼 拜 的 人 中 ， 有 几 个 希 利 尼 人 。

12:21 [hgb]  他 们 来 见 加 利 利 伯 赛 大 的 腓 力 ， 求 他 说 ， 先 生 ， 我 们 愿 意 见 耶 稣 。
    [kjv]  The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus.
    [bbe]  They came to Philip, who was of Beth-saida in Galilee, and made a request, saying, Sir, we have a desire to see Jesus.
12:22 [hgb]  腓 力 去 告 诉 安 得 烈 ， 安 得 烈 同 腓 力 去 告 诉 耶 稣 。
    [kjv]  Philip cometh and telleth Andrew: and again Andrew and Philip tell Jesus.
    [bbe]  Philip went and gave word of it to Andrew; and Andrew went with Philip to Jesus.
12:23 [hgb]  耶 稣 说 ， 人 子 得 荣 耀 的 时 候 到 了 。
    [kjv]  And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.
    [bbe]  And Jesus said to them in answer, The hour of the glory of the Son of man has come.
12:24 [hgb]  我 实 实 在 在 地 告 诉 你 们 ， 一 粒 麦 子 不 落 在 地 里 死 了 ， 仍 旧 是 一 粒 。 若 是 死 了 ， 就 结 出 许 多 子 粒 来 。
    [kjv]  Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
    [bbe]  Truly I say to you, If a seed of grain does not go into the earth and come to an end, it is still a seed and no more; but through its death it gives much fruit.
12:25 [hgb]  爱 惜 自 己 生 命 的 ， 就 失 丧 生 命 。 在 这 世 上 恨 恶 自 己 生 命 的 ， 就 要 保 守 生 命 到 永 生 。
    [kjv]  He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
    [bbe]  He who is in love with life will have it taken from him; and he who has no care for his life in this world will keep it for ever and ever.
12:26 [hgb]  若 有 人 服 事 我 ， 就 当 跟 从 我 。 我 在 哪 里 ， 服 事 我 的 人 ， 也 要 在 哪 里 。 若 有 人 服 事 我 ， 我 父 必 尊 重 他 。
