13:1 [hgb]  犹 大 王 亚 哈 谢 的 儿 子 约 阿 施 二 十 三 年 ， 耶 户 的 儿 子 约 哈 斯 在 撒 玛 利 亚 登 基 作 以 色 列 王 十 七 年 。 
    [kjv]  In the three and twentieth year of Joash the son of Ahaziah king of Judah Jehoahaz the son of Jehu began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned seventeen years.
    [bbe]  In the twenty-third year of Joash, the son of Ahaziah, king of Judah, Jehoahaz, the son of Jehu, became king over Israel in Samaria, ruling for seventeen years.
13:2 [hgb]  约 哈 斯 行 耶 和 华 眼 中 看 为 恶 的 事 ， 效 法 尼 八 的 儿 子 耶 罗 波 安 使 以 色 列 人 陷 在 罪 里 的 那 罪 ， 总 不 离 开 。 
    [kjv]  And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, and followed the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, which made Israel to sin; he departed not therefrom.
    [bbe]  He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, copying the sins of Jeroboam, the son of Nebat, which he did and made Israel do; he did not keep himself from them.
13:3 [hgb]  于 是 ， 耶 和 华 的 怒 气 向 以 色 列 人 发 作 ， 将 他 们 屡 次 交 在 亚 兰 王 哈 薛 和 他 儿 子 便 哈 达 的 手 里 。 
    [kjv]  And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he delivered them into the hand of Hazael king of Syria, and into the hand of Benhadad the son of Hazael, all their days.
    [bbe]  So the wrath of the Lord was burning against Israel, and he gave them up into the power of Hazael, king of Aram, and into the power of Ben-hadad, the son of Hazael, again and again.
13:4 [hgb]  约 哈 斯 恳 求 耶 和 华 ， 耶 和 华 就 应 允 他 ， 因 为 见 以 色 列 人 所 受 亚 兰 王 的 欺 压 。 
    [kjv]  And Jehoahaz besought the LORD, and the LORD hearkened unto him: for he saw the oppression of Israel, because the king of Syria oppressed them.
    [bbe]  Then Jehoahaz made prayer to the Lord, and the Lord gave ear to him, for he saw how cruelly Israel was crushed by the king of Aram.
13:5 [hgb]  耶 和 华 赐 给 以 色 列 人 一 位 拯 救 者 ， 使 他 们 脱 离 亚 兰 人 的 手 。 于 是 以 色 列 人 仍 旧 安 居 在 家 里 。 
    [kjv]  (And the LORD gave Israel a saviour, so that they went out from under the hand of the Syrians: and the children of Israel dwelt in their tents, as beforetime.
    [bbe]  (And the Lord gave Israel a saviour, so that they became free from the hands of the Aramaeans; and the children of Israel were living in their tents as in the past.
13:6 [hgb]  然 而 他 们 不 离 开 耶 罗 波 安 家 使 以 色 列 人 陷 在 罪 里 的 那 罪 ， 仍 然 去 行 ， 并 且 在 撒 玛 利 亚 留 下 亚 舍 拉 。 
    [kjv]  Nevertheless they departed not from the sins of the house of Jeroboam, who made Israel sin, but walked therein: and there remained the grove also in Samaria.)
    [bbe]  But still they did not give up the sin of Jeroboam, which he made Israel do, but went on with it; and there was an image of Asherah in Samaria.)
13:7 [hgb]  亚 兰 王 灭 绝 约 哈 斯 的 民 ， 践 踏 他 们 如 禾 场 上 的 尘 沙 ， 只 给 约 哈 斯 留 下 五 十 马 兵 ， 十 辆 战 车 ， 一 万 步 兵 。 
    [kjv]  Neither did he leave of the people to Jehoahaz but fifty horsemen, and ten chariots, and ten thousand footmen; for the king of Syria had destroyed them, and had made them like the dust by threshing.
    [bbe]  For out of all his army, Jehoahaz had only fifty horsemen and ten carriages and ten thousand footmen; the king of Aram had given them up to destruction, crushing them like dust.
13:8 [hgb]  约 哈 斯 其 余 的 事 ， 凡 他 所 行 的 和 他 的 勇 力 都 写 在 以 色 列 诸 王 记 上 。 
    [kjv]  Now the rest of the acts of Jehoahaz, and all that he did, and his might, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
    [bbe]  Now the rest of the acts of Jehoahaz, and all he did, and his great power, are they not recorded in the book of the history of the kings of Israel?
13:9 [hgb]  约 哈 斯 与 他 列 祖 同 睡 ， 葬 在 撒 玛 利 亚 。 他 儿 子 约 阿 施 接 续 他 作 王 。 
    [kjv]  And Jehoahaz slept with his fathers; and they buried him in Samaria: and Joash his son reigned in his stead.
    [bbe]  And Jehoahaz went to rest with his fathers, and was put into the earth in Samaria; and Joash his son became king in his place.
13:10 [hgb]  犹 大 王 约 阿 施 三 十 七 年 ， 约 哈 斯 的 儿 子 约 阿 施 在 撒 玛 利 亚 登 基 作 以 色 列 王 十 六 年 。 
    [kjv]  In the thirty and seventh year of Joash king of Judah began Jehoash the son of Jehoahaz to reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned sixteen years.
    [bbe]  In the thirty-seventh year of the rule of Joash, king of Judah, Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, became king over Israel in Samaria, ruling for sixteen years.
13:11 [hgb]  他 行 耶 和 华 眼 中 看 为 恶 的 事 ， 不 离 开 尼 八 的 儿 子 耶 罗 波 安 使 以 色 列 人 陷 在 罪 里 的 一 切 罪 ， 仍 然 去 行 。 
    [kjv]  And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD; he departed not from all the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel sin: but he walked therein.
    [bbe]  He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, not turning away from the sin of Jeroboam, the son of Nebat, which he did and made Israel do, but he went on with it.
13:12 [hgb]  约 阿 施 其 余 的 事 ， 凡 他 所 行 的 和 他 与 犹 大 王 亚 玛 谢 争 战 的 勇 力 ， 都 写 在 以 色 列 诸 王 记 上 。 
    [kjv]  And the rest of the acts of Joash, and all that he did, and his might wherewith he fought against Amaziah king of Judah, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
    [bbe]  Now the rest of the acts of Joash, and all he did, and the force with which he went to war against Amaziah, king of Judah, are they not recorded in the book of the history of the kings of Israel?
13:13 [hgb]  约 阿 施 与 他 列 祖 同 睡 ， 耶 罗 波 安 坐 了 他 的 位 。 约 阿 施 与 以 色 列 诸 王 一 同 葬 在 撒 玛 利 亚 。 
    [kjv]  And Joash slept with his fathers; and Jeroboam sat upon his throne: and Joash was buried in Samaria with the kings of Israel.
