10:1 [hgb] 亚 哈 有 七 十 个 儿 子 在 撒 玛 利 亚 。 耶 户 写 信 送 到 撒 玛 利 亚 ， 通 知 耶 斯 列 的 首 领 ， 就 是 长 老 和 教 养 亚 哈 众 子 的 人 ， 说 ，
[kjv] And Ahab had seventy sons in Samaria. And Jehu wrote letters, and sent to Samaria, unto the rulers of Jezreel, to the elders, and to them that brought up Ahab's children, saying,
[bbe] Now there were in Samaria seventy of Ahab's sons. And Jehu sent letters to Samaria, to the rulers of the town, and to the responsible men, and to those who had the care of the sons of Ahab, saying,
10:2 [hgb] 你 们 那 里 既 有 你 们 主 人 的 众 子 和 车 马 ， 器 械 ， 坚 固 城 ，
[kjv] Now as soon as this letter cometh to you, seeing your master's sons are with you, and there are with you chariots and horses, a fenced city also, and armour;
[bbe] Straight away, when you get this letter, seeing that your master's sons are with you, and that you have carriages and horses and a walled town and arms;
10:3 [hgb] 接 了 这 信 ， 就 可 以 在 你 们 主 人 的 众 子 中 选 择 一 个 贤 能 合 宜 的 ， 使 他 坐 他 父 亲 的 位 ， 你 们 也 可 以 为 你 们 主 人 的 家 争 战 。
[kjv] Look even out the best and meetest of your master's sons, and set him on his father's throne, and fight for your master's house.
[bbe] Take the best and most upright of your master's sons, and make him king in his father's place, and put up a fight for your master's family.
10:4 [hgb] 他 们 却 甚 惧 怕 ， 彼 此 说 ， 二 王 在 他 面 前 尚 且 站 立 不 住 ， 我 们 怎 能 站 得 住 呢 ？
[kjv] But they were exceedingly afraid, and said, Behold, two kings stood not before him: how then shall we stand?
[bbe] But they were full of fear, and said, The two kings have gone down before him: how may we keep our place?
10:5 [hgb] 家 宰 ， 邑 宰 ， 和 长 老 ， 并 教 养 众 子 的 人 ， 打 发 人 去 见 耶 户 ， 说 ， 我 们 是 你 的 仆 人 ， 凡 你 所 吩 咐 我 们 的 都 必 遵 行 ， 我 们 不 立 谁 作 王 ， 你 看 怎 样 好 就 怎 样 行 。
[kjv] And he that was over the house, and he that was over the city, the elders also, and the bringers up of the children, sent to Jehu, saying, We are thy servants, and will do all that thou shalt bid us; we will not make any king: do thou that which is good in thine eyes.
[bbe] So the controller of the king's house, with the ruler of the town, and the responsible men, and those who had the care of Ahab's sons, sent to Jehu, saying, We are your servants and will do all your orders; we will not make any man king; do whatever seems best to you.
10:6 [hgb] 耶 户 又 给 他 们 写 信 说 ， 你 们 若 归 顺 我 ， 听 从 我 的 话 ， 明 日 这 时 候 ， 要 将 你 们 主 人 众 子 的 首 级 带 到 耶 斯 列 来 见 我 。 那 时 王 的 儿 子 七 十 人 都 住 在 教 养 他 们 那 城 中 的 尊 贵 人 家 里 。
[kjv] Then he wrote a letter the second time to them, saying, If ye be mine, and if ye will hearken unto my voice, take ye the heads of the men your master's sons, and come to me to Jezreel by to morrow this time. Now the king's sons, being seventy persons, were with the great men of the city, which brought them up.
[bbe] Then he sent them a second letter, saying, If you are on my side, and if you will do my orders, come to me at Jezreel by this time tomorrow, with the heads of your master's sons. Now the king's seventy sons were with the great men of the town, who had the care of them.
10:7 [hgb] 信 一 到 ， 他 们 就 把 王 的 七 十 个 儿 子 杀 了 ， 将 首 级 装 在 筐 里 ， 送 到 耶 斯 列 耶 户 那 里 。
[kjv] And it came to pass, when the letter came to them, that they took the king's sons, and slew seventy persons, and put their heads in baskets, and sent him them to Jezreel.
[bbe] And when the letter came to them, they took the king's sons and put them to death, all the seventy, and put their heads in baskets and sent them to him at Jezreel.
10:8 [hgb] 有 使 者 来 告 诉 耶 户 说 ， 他 们 将 王 众 子 的 首 级 送 来 了 。 耶 户 说 ， 将 首 级 在 城 门 口 堆 作 两 堆 ， 搁 到 明 日 。
[kjv] And there came a messenger, and told him, saying, They have brought the heads of the king's sons. And he said, Lay ye them in two heaps at the entering in of the gate until the morning.
[bbe] And a man came and said to him, They have come with the heads of the king's sons. And he said, Put them down in two masses at the doorway of the town till the morning.
10:9 [hgb] 次 日 早 晨 ， 耶 户 出 来 ， 站 着 对 众 民 说 ， 你 们 都 是 公 义 的 ， 我 背 叛 我 主 人 ， 将 他 杀 了 。 这 些 人 却 是 谁 杀 的 呢 ？
[kjv] And it came to pass in the morning, that he went out, and stood, and said to all the people, Ye be righteous: behold, I conspired against my master, and slew him: but who slew all these?
[bbe] And in the morning he went out and, stopping, said to all the people there, You are upright men: it is true that I made designs against my master, and put him to death; but who is responsible for the death of all these?
10:10 [hgb] 由 此 可 知 ， 耶 和 华 指 着 亚 哈 家 所 说 的 话 一 句 没 有 落 空 ， 因 为 耶 和 华 借 他 仆 人 以 利 亚 所 说 的 话 都 成 就 了 。
[kjv] Know now that there shall fall unto the earth nothing of the word of the LORD, which the LORD spake concerning the house of Ahab: for the LORD hath done that which he spake by his servant Elijah.
[bbe] You may be certain that nothing which the Lord has said about the family of Ahab will be without effect; for the Lord has done what he said by his servant Elijah.
10:11 [hgb] 凡 亚 哈 家 在 耶 斯 列 所 剩 下 的 人 和 他 的 大 臣 ， 密 友 ， 祭 司 ， 耶 户 尽 都 杀 了 ， 没 有 留 下 一 个 。
[kjv] So Jehu slew all that remained of the house of Ahab in Jezreel, and all his great men, and his kinsfolks, and his priests, until he left him none remaining.
[bbe] So Jehu put to death all the rest of the seed of Ahab in Jezreel, and all his relations and his near friends and his priests, till there were no more of them.
10:12 [hgb] 耶 户 起 身 往 撒 玛 利 亚 去 。 在 路 上 ， 牧 人 剪 羊 毛 之 处 ，
[kjv] And he arose and departed, and came to Samaria. And as he was at the shearing house in the way,
[bbe] Then he got up and came to Samaria. And he was at the meeting-place of the keepers of sheep, by the way,
10:13 [hgb] 遇 见 犹 大 王 亚 哈 谢 的 弟 兄 ， 问 他 们 说 ， 你 们 是 谁 。 回 答 说 ， 我 们 是 亚 哈 谢 的 弟 兄 ， 现 在 下 去 要 问 王 和 太 后 的 众 子 安 。
[kjv] Jehu met with the brethren of Ahaziah king of Judah, and said, Who are ye? And they answered, We are the brethren of Ahaziah; and we go down to salute the children of the king and the children of the queen.
[bbe] When he came across the brothers of Ahaziah, king of Judah, and said, Who are you? And they said, We are the brothers of Ahaziah, king of Judah; we are going down to see the children of the king and of the queen.
10:14 [hgb] 耶 户 吩 咐 说 ， 活 捉 他 们 。 跟 从 的 人 就 活 捉 了 他 们 ， 将 他 们 杀 在 剪 羊 毛 之 处 的 坑 边 ， 共 四 十 二 人 ， 没 有 留 下 一 个 。
[kjv] And he said, Take them alive. And they took them alive, and slew them at the pit of the shearing house, even two and forty men; neither left he any of them.
[bbe] And he said, Take them living. So they took them living, and put them to death in the water-hole of Beth-eked; of the forty-two men he put every one to death;
10:15 [hgb] 耶 户 从 那 里 前 行 ， 恰 遇 利 甲 的 儿 子 约 拿 达 来 迎 接 他 ， 耶 户 问 他 安 ， 对 他 说 ， 你 诚 心 待 我 像 我 诚 心 待 你 吗 ？ 约 拿 达 回 答 说 ， 是 。 耶 户 说 ， 若 是 这 样 ， 你 向 我 伸 手 ， 他 就 伸 手 。 耶 户 拉 他 上 车 。
[kjv] And when he was departed thence, he lighted on Jehonadab the son of Rechab coming to meet him: and he saluted him, and said to him, Is thine heart right, as my heart is with thy heart? And Jehonadab answered, It is. If it be, give me thine hand. And he gave him his hand; and he took him up to him into the chariot.
[bbe] And when he had gone away from there, he came across Jehonadab, the son of Rechab: and he said good-day to him, and said to him, Is your heart true to mine, as mine is to yours? And Jehonadab in answer said, It is; and Jehu said, If it is, give me your hand. And he gave him his hand, and he made him come up into his carriage.
10:16 [hgb] 耶 户 说 ， 你 和 我 同 去 ， 看 我 为 耶 和 华 怎 样 热 心 。 于 是 请 他 坐 在 车 上 ，
[kjv] And he said, Come with me, and see my zeal for the LORD. So they made him ride in his chariot.
[bbe] And he said, Come with me and see how I am on fire for the Lord's cause. So he made him go with him in his carriage.
10:17 [hgb] 到 了 撒 玛 利 亚 ， 就 把 撒 玛 利 亚 亚 哈 家 剩 下 的 人 都 杀 了 ， 直 到 灭 尽 ， 正 如 耶 和 华 对 以 利 亚 所 说 的 。
[kjv] And when he came to Samaria, he slew all that remained unto Ahab in Samaria, till he had destroyed him, according to the saying of the LORD, which he spake to Elijah.
[bbe] And when he came to Samaria, he put to death all those of Ahab's family w............
