    [kjv]  In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.
    [bbe]  <To the chief music-maker. A Psalm. Of David.> In you, O Lord, have I put my hope; let me never be shamed; keep me safe in your righteousness.
31:2 [hgb]  求 你 侧 耳 而 听 ， 快 快 救 我 ， 作 我 坚 固 的 磐 石 ， 拯 救 我 的 保 障 。 
    [kjv]  Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me.
    [bbe]  Let your ear be turned to me; take me quickly out of danger; be my strong Rock, my place of strength where I may be safe.
31:3 [hgb]  因 为 你 是 我 的 岩 石 ， 我 的 山 寨 。 所 以 求 你 为 你 名 的 缘 故 ， 引 导 我 ， 指 点 我 。 
    [kjv]  For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me.
    [bbe]  For you are my Rock and my strong tower; go in front of me and be my guide, because of your name.
31:4 [hgb]  求 你 救 我 脱 离 人 为 我 暗 设 的 网 罗 。 因 为 你 是 我 的 保 障 。 
    [kjv]  Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength.
    [bbe]  Take me out of the net which they have put ready for me secretly; for you are my strength.
31:5 [hgb]  我 将 我 的 灵 魂 交 在 你 手 里 。 耶 和 华 诚 实 的 神 阿 ， 你 救 赎 了 我 。 
    [kjv]  Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.
    [bbe]  Into your hands I give my spirit; you are my saviour, O Lord God for ever true.
31:6 [hgb]  我 恨 恶 那 信 奉 虚 无 之 神 的 人 。 我 却 倚 靠 耶 和 华 。 
    [kjv]  I have hated them that regard lying vanities: but I trust in the LORD.
    [bbe]  I am full of hate for those who go after false gods; but my hope is in the Lord.
31:7 [hgb]  我 要 为 你 的 慈 爱 高 兴 欢 喜 。 因 为 你 见 过 我 的 困 苦 ， 知 道 我 心 中 的 艰 难 。 
    [kjv]  I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities;
    [bbe]  I will be glad and have delight in your mercy; because you have seen my trouble; you have had pity on my soul in its sorrows;
31:8 [hgb]  你 未 曾 把 我 交 在 仇 敌 手 里 。 你 使 我 的 脚 站 在 宽 阔 之 处 。 
    [kjv]  And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large room.
    [bbe]  And you have not given me into the hand of my hater; you have put my feet in a wide place.
31:9 [hgb]  耶 和 华 阿 ， 求 你 怜 恤 我 ， 因 为 我 在 急 难 之 中 。 我 的 眼 睛 因 忧 愁 而 干 瘪 ， 连 我 的 身 心 ， 也 不 安 舒 。 
    [kjv]  Have mercy upon me, O LORD, for I am in trouble: mine eye is consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my belly.
    [bbe]  Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am in trouble; my eyes are wasted with grief, I am wasted in soul and body.
31:10 [hgb]  我 的 生 命 为 愁 苦 所 消 耗 。 我 的 年 岁 为 叹 息 所 旷 废 。 我 的 力 量 因 我 的 罪 孽 衰 败 。 我 的 骨 头 也 枯 干 。 
    [kjv]  For my life is spent with grief, and my years with sighing: my strength faileth because of mine iniquity, and my bones are consumed.
    [bbe]  My life goes on in sorrow, and my years in weeping; my strength is almost gone because of my sin, and my bones are wasted away.
31:11 [hgb]  我 因 一 切 敌 人 成 了 羞 辱 ， 在 我 的 邻 舍 跟 前 更 甚 。 那 认 识 我 的 都 惧 怕 我 。 在 外 头 看 见 我 的 都 躲 避 我 。 
    [kjv]  I was a reproach among all mine enemies, but especially among my neighbours, and a fear to mine acquaintance: they that did see me without fled from me.
    [bbe]  Because of all those who are against me, I have become a word of shame to my neighbours; a cause of shaking the head and a fear to my friends: those who saw me in the street went in flight from me.
31:12 [hgb]  我 被 人 忘 记 ， 如 同 死 人 ， 无 人 记 念 。 我 好 像 破 碎 的 器 皿 。 
    [kjv]  I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I am like a broken vessel.
    [bbe]  I have gone from men's minds and memory like a dead man; I am like a broken vessel.
